heya!so ystrday day i had a pretty gd day!started off pretty well coz i went to the temple!hehe..its a promise that Sharanya and i made..so for the nxt 9wks we'l be headin down to the temple to pray!our desperate attempt to please god so that we'l do well for our O's!haha..so we'l see if our hard work and devout prayers work out!had a little fondue party at my house wid Twins, Joycelyn, Bhavna, Yvonne, Melis, Pearlyn and Sufie!watched Saw3!..grossed me out!i think my eyes were peekin thru my pillows 3/4 of the movie!..ughh!but its a pretty intelligent plot!JIGSAW IS PURE GENIUS!too bad hes using it for the wrong purposes..but he still managed to teach us that revenge will never do gd and always value ur life no matter how hard the goin gets!juz tht he tells it in a rather violent way!..

so last morn..it was rainin worse than cats and dogs and look at it now!!arghh..nice n bright!juz sucks terribly wen it pours wenever ur goin out and the weather is perfect wen ur couch-potatoeing at home!..appparently S'pore has recorded its highest rainfall in the past 75yrs!so theres no one to blame abt the rain but us i guess..so back to the temple!Sharanya, Naaven and I went to the temple at arnd 9plus but we were kinda delayed by the rain!still managed to get to the temple in time!did our prayers..my dad's priest fren put this HUGE blob of whitish grey ash (which we call basmam) on my forehead..smiled at me..realised it wasnt big enuff..and smeared more on my forehead!arghh..well hes a priest after all!so i shudnt be gettin angry wid him!..besides hes dad's fren..haha..so nvm!he also blessed Naaven..sayin 'good boy!'..a lil amusin to see an Indian priest doin tht!..so temple visit went well..we bought and lighted up our lamps and did our prayers..Naaven wasnt feeling too gd so we went and had lunch quickly..besides i was starving!

Sharanya and i tried Pani Puri for the first time!..pretty nice but not wonderful tho!..very interestin burst of flavours..sweet..sour..spicy all in one!after lunch we headed back to Tampines Mall to buy the stuff i needed for my chocolate fondue!!yuumm!..bought a couple of fruits..marshmallows..skewers..drinks and hersheys choc syrup!do u noe tht the traditional way to make Choc Fondue is to mix MELTED CHOC WID VEGGIE OIL!!uggghh..the thot of it juz makes me cringe so Praveen ettan told me to juz do it wid Hershey's Choc syrup..so thts wad i did and it did turn out pretty well!..

so the peeps came at abt 3 and we started off by playin Halo2 and had our very own chocolate fountain!and you thot u wud only see that in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!muahaha..now i have my very own one!Bhavna brought her home made brownies!it was a serious case of CHOCOLATE OVERDOSE!but who can resist chocs eh!.watched Saw3..so now we noe why its R21 eh!haha..Melis, Pearlyn and Sufie had to head back earlier to get home for dinner!the rest stayed on..continued playin Halo2 and we played Taboo after tht!its been yrs since i played it!my mum was pretty worried tht i was gonna lose the cards!apparently i was pretty well known in my fmly for losin game cards since young!but thts PAST TENSE!i guess im a lil more responsible now!hehe..so Taboo was fun once u get into the game!6 of us so there were 3 pairs..juz nice!Gina's version of Bosnia was hilarious!..everyone headed home at arnd 9plus..dad wanted to order pizza!but i guess they were too shy..damn!i cud have had PIZZA for dinner man!..oh well..

CHRISTMAS is comin!couple of fmly parties to go to but im not goin unless my brothers are goin!hehe..dad said we cud have a Christmas Tree this yr!yay!..and hes PROMISED me my x'mas prezzie which ive been patiently waiting for for more than a yr!now that my O's are over..my parents have NO EXCUSE!muahaha..so il juz wait and see if dad remembers..keepin my fingers crossed=)

hey mate!

so im back from my aussie trip!well i cant deny that it wasnt fun coz it was a pretty awesome trip!one of the best ive ever had so far!..juz except for the part MOVIEWORLD CHEATED ME!!!yes..sadly!..i shall brood abt tht later!oh yea..n i was also deprived of my chilli!!i seriously think its insane to pay 60cents for a puny pack of chilli sauce at McDonalds..!moreover it was sweet chilli sauce!its a wonder how the aussies survive widout chilli!!its a freakin ESSENTIAL man!

well, within this one wk i've done loads of stuff at Brisbane..great place!i prbly wont be able to tell u wad all i did there but im pretty sure this is gonna be a long entry!so if u cant be bothered to stay on and read, i'd advice u to GET UR BLOODY ARSE OFF FROM HERE MATE!!hehe..jk!

so, we left on sunday nite..was a 7hr journey!managed to watch a couple of movies onboard!POTC dead man's chest!!ahh..my johnny depp!..kk den i watched Step Up and Krrish..and seriously Krrish was a pretty awful movie!i only watched it coz it was taken in S'pore!oh god!for cryin out loud..Singapore doesnt look lyk Chinatown!!if u guys have watched tht movie, u wud noe wad im tokin abt..

when we arrived at the airport we were ferried to Tangalooma Resort..really great man!love the beach..Pasir Ris..East Coast..wadever stands nowhere close to this beach!its an insult to Tangalooma!haha..yea the beach was sooooooo freakin clean!water looked pretty clear and the sand was the best!so soft and white!..and wad more!SURFER DUDES!!haha..u noe there are juz too many good lookin ppl in Australia that u dun go OOH or AHH wen u spot a gd lookin person!..u kinda get used to seein such ppl arnd..Bhavna and i always say that u can be out in Singapore streets for 5hrs and not spot even one gd lookin guy...maybe if ur lucky u will see one for prbly 5seconds..but in Australia..ur out for only 5mins and BINGO!haha..such lovely eye candies=)

aniwaes..back to Tangalooma!we went to the desert that afternoon!!i felt lyk i was in Egypt or someplace..so many sand dunes!but the best part was the SAND SURFING!one of the best things ive ever done!if dad didnt put me up to it i wud have definitely chickened out!but thks to dad i did try it!..walkin up the sand dunes wid our boards seriously wasnt an easy task!..reali tiring coz the dunes are pretty steep!so after all the huffing and puffing tryin to catch our breath dad and i surfed down wid our boards!it was AWESOME!we had to wear goggles so tht the sand doesnt get into our eyes..we looked pretty ridiculous wid goggles in the middle of the desert actuali!but it was so fun!..i wanted to go again but juz cudnt bear the thot of climbing up the dunes again!..hehe..

we stayed at Tangalooma for a day only!..sand dunes in the afternoon and dolphin feedin at nite!they're so adorable!was pretty tired so we went strollin at the beach!..there were a few ppl playin a couple of drums and other instruments at the beach!my dad was doin some sort of bhangra dance on the middle of the beach!..oh god!..haha..but dads cute!..played badminton wid dad the whole mornin too!been some time since i played so it was definitely great fun!so yea..the next day we took the ferry back to Brisbane and stayed at the Vibe Hotel for the nxt 4nites..our room was on the 12th floor so we got an awesome view!..if u guys watch CSI Miami..u noe the typical intro scene where u see high rise condominium lyk builidings by the river!and the rich man houses wid their private beaches and yatchs!tht was the view we got!..can u imagine havin ur own private beach!!!damn!..i wanna be an Aussie!..

we did loads of stuff in Brisbane!the people there are really friendly!juz that wen u see a fellow Indian..they look at you lyk u've juz descended from planet mars!so on our third day we went to Movieworld!!..i'l never forget this place FOR LIFE!..for one..it scared the crap out of me!and secondly they freakin CHEATED ME!!all of us went on the Scooby Doo rollercoaster..damn tht was TERRIFYIN!!..at one point i was screamin at my mum to ask them to stop!..haha..oh god how embarrassin!..but it was pretty fun!..so as it is, the Scooby Doo rollercoaster was bad enuff and i was too chicken to try Superman Escape!can u imagine how bad that wud be!..there were loads of other stuff to do at movieworld..tonnes of shops!charlie and the chocolate factory!!!yumm..we watched the Police Academy show too..very captivating and professionally done!oooh n i love the 4D Shrek movie..fun experience!the Matrix exhibition was pretty boring..maybe bcoz i hvnt watch the movie..so i wasnt impressed wid it..there was also a cool harry potter shop!looked really nice..gosh there were alot of movie shops there..u wont get bored!...oh yea and we took pictures wid Batman and Robin!..haha..

so lets get to the part where i was cheated!and i didn noe tht i was cheated till i reached s'pore!!arghh..its not fair!..at one of the shops i bought this GIANT POSTER OF JOHNNY DEPP!!johnny depp lookin his best as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!..c'mon u gotta admit that he's prbly the only guy who can look damn good wid eyeliner and long braided hair!can any other actor pull that off???so yea i thot i struck lottery wen i bought that poster!was holdin onto it lyk my life depended on it!..hehe..so yea u can almost imagine how i got cheated!wen i got home on Saturday nite!...i was eagerly opening it up the first thing i got home..and guess wad?!need i say more?!it WASNT MY JOHNNY DEPP!!

it was THE OC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!why?tell my why?wad did i do to deserve this??why cudnt it have been LOST or CSI or some other tv show that i watch..i dun freakin watch The OC in the first place!..i was practically wailing and screamin wen i realised it wasnt johnny!..so my brothers tried to pacify me!haha..but they were actually laughin at the irony!COWS!..coz i was so excited and proud of my giant poster!..sigh...Praveen ettan is goin to Thailand nxt wk..he said he'l try lookin for it..yea he was jokin that he'l prbly find Johnny Deppraapong or smthg!..wonder if the Thais noe him..juz hope so..dad was sayin maybe HMV mite have it!..but even if they did..it wudnt be GIANT!!arghh..so depressing!go EAT DUNG MOVIEWORLD!!!kk..i noe i shud have checked it..but i didn wanna open the packaging and all..nvm..so other than that, movieworld was a great place!

the nxt day we went to Dreamworld..another great place..loads of fun too!we took pictures wid the Koalas!they're the most adorable creatures!..the one i held slept in my arms!..aww..i wanna adopt a Koala!!fed the Kangaroos too!..saw a pretty gd tiger show!god..the white tiger was masculine and handsome and smart!!i wud have married him if given a chance..hehe..after seein the animals we went for the rides..i was pretty eager to try the Tower of Terror..but mum was too chicken..kept sayin she wud get her vertigo!but dad was up to it!..we were almost gettin there wen mum started tellin dad that bcoz of his age his heart mite not be able to take it and bla bla bla bla..so eventually dad n i didn go on tht..but we went on THE CLAW!!it was exhilarating!!its a new addition to Dreamworld!..i dun think i've screamed so much before in my life!but i loved every bit of it!..dad and i wanted to go AGAIN but the queue was juz too long..and mum was waiting alone..so yea..then we went on the Rapid Thunder River ride..pretty fun..mum got wet the most..took my parents on a ride on the vintage cars..haha..its automatic so i juz had to step the paddle..the steering wheel was movin by itself..so it looked as tho i was drivin the car..and my parents were sayin i was drivin widout a licsense and all tht nonsense jokingly..haha..but they enjoyed my ride!after that, went to watch a couple of shows..ate nutz and ice cream!!the violet crumble was crumblicious!!so after the whole day there we were all exhausted!

i didn follow my parents for dinner..coz i juz wanted to relax at the balcony!the view at nite was juz too gd for me to describe!i cud sit there for hrs..apparently my parents found this north indian restaurant..tandoori place or smthg lyk dat!..wen mum came back she was tryin to make me jealous by sayin..'oh preethi..u missed it!the north indian guy runnin the place was so pleasant and good lookin..he was attendin to us so well u noe..hes only in his twenties and from Sydney and bla bla bla.."so yea mum and dad were makin me feel lyk i missed it!..haha..but c'mon at the end of the day..it doesnt really matter to me..im goin back to Singapore aniwaez..

and on Friday..our last day out!..we went to the Tropical Fruit World, Honeyworld and the Chocolate Factory!the fruit world trip was pretty educational!..i saw gigantic chikku fruits!and lychees hangin from the trees..wow!lovely place!after that went to Honey world where they showed how honey is made..mum bought lyk a dozen different flavoured honey jars!..and the one i was most excited abt was the CHOCOLATE FACTORY!well it was nuthin lyk charlie and the chocolate factory wid Oompa Loompas running arnd!but it was still a great experience to see how chocolates are made!!YUMMMM!dad n i bought this chocolate drink thingy!its pure melted chocolate wid bits of marshmallows in it!!ahhh..pure bliss!i was in heaven man!..if they sold tht in s'pore..the shops wud prbly add water or milk to it as usual!..but this was pure chocolate!yummm..apparently the owner of the chocolate factory is a Malaysian Indian..haha..so my parents made frens wid the lady!they were tokin tamil and askin abt each others fmly and all..aiya..the usual stuff..but my attention was definitely on the chocolate!hehe..

after tht we went to this ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and scenic place called Point Danger!..its inbetween New South Wales and Queensland!we went to this beach lyk place that had an awesome view of the Pacific Ocean..the wind was great too!..if i was abt 20kg lighter i wud have been blown over!so strong and nice!..they had Captain Cook's memorial there too!..and info abt the Aussies who were killed by the Japs durin WW2 and all..

oh yea..u guys wanna noe smthg interestin!..haha..well its interestin to me so yea!theres actually a time difference of 1hr between New South Wales and Queensland eventho some streets are juz facing each other!..i cud be standing opposite u in Queensland while ur facing me in New South Wales and we're 1hr apart!juz across the street!wow..and they have to change their time in abt 3mth..smthg to do wid the Greenwich thingy!..pretty amusin eh!

and our last stop was at the Austalian's version of Takashimaya..Pacific Fair!..its huge!..this Pakistani cab driver drove us there..and as usual my mum was askin abt himself and his biography and his fmly history..he had a cute Pakistani accent tho!.haha..so at the shoppin centre did shoppin and all!..haha..lyk duh rite!yea bought a few dresses!k so they're mini dresses so i have to wear them wid jeans!..but the Aussie gals juz walk arnd everyday in their mini dresses!so guys out there..u wanna see some leg?u gotta go to Australia den..hehe..

so yea the nxt day..Saturday!back to the airport and back to Singapore!!really miss the two bums!Praveen and Prashanth ettan came to receive us from the airport!gave them a big squeeze!gosh..miss their clownin arnd and teasin so much!

it's a rainy day today so im prbly gonna rot to my bones as usual!actually i've got no one but myself to blame for this!..coz bhavna is pretty annoyed wid me for not goin out wid her these days!sry!!!hehe..and i havnt hung out wid my friends lately!i didn even go to the twins hse ystrday!!wads happenin to me?!...well yea i gotta admit..im juz PLAIN LAZY!and im not complainin abt it!..

seriously, havnt u guys had those days wen u'd rather chill at home instead!all the more i've gotta long holiday and all the time to slack and waste it at my own pleasure!..so why worry!aniwaez once im back from my trip, i've promised bhavna tht i'l go out wid her wenever she wants no matter wad!and im also gonna have a lil fondue party at my place for my friends and play our usual halo2!..haha..coz my parents got this fondue thingy free from Courts wen we had our air-cons fixed!so yea..wad better way to use it but wid my close buddies ofcoz!sharanya and i have also planned to go to the temple one of these days!haha..yea making a desperate plea for our O'level results!and Prashanth ettan and i are gonna have a beach gatherin soon!where he'l be invitin his friends and il be invitin mine for some fun!oh yea and finally get a job or smthg real soon!so im pretty much not wastin my holidays if i look at it this way!oh well..i'l juz see if i manage to carry them out!

and i kinda realised that my dads lyk Mr Popular or smthg!..haha..coz hes received gift baskets, presents, cards, birthday cakes way before his birthday!so im juz tryin to imagine wads gonna happen on his actual birthday aniwaez!..juz today we gotta gift basket sent to our hse from our relatives!rather surprising tho..and his office colleagues had a b'day celebration for him at the office!so how cool is tht!..oh yea and his bday happens to be his wedding anniversary as well!which reminds me..my brothers and i need to plan out smthg for our parents reali soon before hell breaks out!!kinda envy my dad!..haha..hes lyk living THE LIFE man!..

hey!well its been a long time since i last blogged!in my last entry i was sayin tht i've got only 4mths to graduate!and look at me now?i've finally graduated and practially rotting to my bones at home!

yea i have been goin out and all but tell me how many times can u possibly go out in a wk?and my parents aren't helping either..they think i shud be reading or takin up some form of hobby to use up my time instead!haha..but i actually started reading order of the phoenix two nites ago!the movies comin out soon and ive totally forgotten wad happens in the story!im lyk wad the hells goin on and did this actually happen?memory is in pretty bad shape i guess!

so for the past wk..wad have i been doin?well on monday i had to go buy ben&jerry's for bhavna and since i had the whole day i thot i'd juz go to the furthest shop i noe!so i went pretty far juz to get two tubs of ice cream!i was that bored!..

and the nxt day i went wid sharanya, her bro, jayashree and her sis to watch dhoom2!pretty gd movie actually juz that the endin was lyk...errr!nvm u go watch it and u'l noe..and i heard some guy say 'dei..this is worse than tamil movies da!!'hahaha..well i feel the difference between a bad tamil movie ending and a bad hindi movie ending is that in hindi movies..they end the crappiness in style!!..as for the tamil ones..do i reali need to explain?haha..but overall dhoom2 was gd!damn funny too!COCABANANA!!!

and then a couple of days later bhavna, twins, joycelyn, sufie, melis, yvonne and i went to east coast beach!it was pretty fun!i finally cycled after one yr!!oh god..i think rust has formed on my bicycle by now..aniwae it was a great day!yea but my ass hurt reali bad!damn bicycle seat was pretty hard!..and its dirt cheap now!we paid lyk 5bucks for 2hrs..

so yea..and nxt wk im goin wid my parents to Goldcoast!not reali excited tho..coz my bros arent coming!one cant take leave and the other is in army!damn!!we're goin to movieworld and universal studio and bla bla..WITH MY PARENTS!!i shudnt be complainin i noe!oh well..and i was pretty excited for a moment ystrday wen bhavna told me that she mite be able to come along wid us!!sometimes things are too good to be true isnt it?
